These promotional materials were designed and written for the annual auction at my son’s school. The event was a throwback prom and the idea was to make it as fun and inviting as possible. Breaking through the clutter in a day of the life of a busy parent is no small feat. This invite had to ask for both an emotional and philanthropical response. My method of attack included the lethal combination of retro photos of the school’s own faculty and slang from the glory days.
